Biblical Concept: Victory

Vocabulary: nike  (ni,kh) - “victory” (1 John 5:4 only); nikao (nika,w) - “to conquer,
                     overcome, vanquish, subdue”; nikos  (ni/koj) - “victory.”

1) Christ = victory over the world.

John 16:33, Peace in Christ, tribulation in the world, Jesus Christ has overcome (nikao)
                     the world. Note Hebrews 1:13, 10:13, 2:5 and 2:8.

2) Christ = victory over evil.
