Introduction: This collection of Bible passages encourages the Christian to recognize
the spiritual benefits available from God.  Soul happiness is available to all Christians.

NAS John 10:10 "The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they
might have life, and might have it abundantly.

NAS Matthew 11:28 "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will
give you rest. 29 "Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and
humble in heart; and YOU SHALL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. 30 "For My yoke
is easy, and My load is light."

NAS 1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and
His commandments are not burdensome.

goodness, faithfulness,  23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

NAS Ephesians 4:23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and put
on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and
holiness of the truth.

NAS Ephesians 5:19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual
songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord;

NAS Philippians 4:5 Let your forbearing spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near.
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God,
which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ
Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right,
whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any
excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things. 9
The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these
things; and the God of peace shall be with you.

NAS Colossians 1:9 For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not
ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His
will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so that you may walk in a manner
worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and
increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all power, according to His
glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously 12 giving
thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in
light. 13 For He delivered us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the
kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of
sins.

NAS Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on
earth. 3 For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ,
who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.

NAS Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace,
that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need.

NAS Hebrews 6:18 in order that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible
for God to lie, we may have strong encouragement, we who have fled for refuge in
laying hold of the hope set before us. 19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul,
a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil,

NAS 2 Corinthians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the
Father of mercies and God of all comfort; 4 who comforts us in all our affliction so
that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with
which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For just as the sufferings of Christ are
ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ. 6 But if we are
afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or if we are comforted, it is for your
comfort, which is effective in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we
also suffer; 7 and our hope for you is firmly grounded, knowing that as you are sharers
of our sufferings, so also you are sharers of our comfort.

NAS Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good
to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

NAS Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in
believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

heart before Him,

NAS Ecclesiastes 5:18 Here is what I have seen to be good and fitting: to eat, to drink
and enjoy oneself in all one's labor in which he toils under the sun  during the few
years of his life which God has given him; for this is his reward. 19 Furthermore, as for
every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also empowered him to
eat from them and to receive his reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of
God. 20 For he will not often consider the years of his life, because God keeps him
occupied with the gladness of his heart.
