1) 1 Corinthians 15:1-11 - Eternal salvation is the most important issue in
    human life.  Our support, participation, and prayer related to the
    Gospel are first in the order of life.  Compare Luke 12:16-21, 33.

2) 1 Peter 2:2 - Growing into our salvation is the second most important
    order in human life.  The necessity of milk to a new-born describes this
    spiritual life or spiritual death issue!  Compare the word "live" in
    Matthew 4:4.

3) James 1:22-25 - Applying, on a moment by moment basis, God's Word which
    we have in our souls is the third most important issue in human life--also the
    most time consuming.  This results in more eternal blessing for the
    Christian. Compare James 1:11-12; Galatians 6:6-10; 2 Corinthians 4:16-18;
    1 Timothy 4:8; 6:17-19; and Colossians 3:1-4.

4) God, marriage, family, work then play is a Biblical logical “order of
    importance in life.” God is first in our lives because He gave us life and
    eternal life (1-3 above and Matthew 10:37).  Marriage is second in our
    lives because it is a one flesh relationship (Genesis 2:18, 2:24 and
    Ephesians  5:28-29).  Family is third because it originates from the one
    flesh relationship (Genesis 1:27-28 and Ephesians 6:1-4). Work is fourth
    because it supports marriage and family life (1 Timothy 5:8, 5:14 and
    Proverbs 31:27).  When God, marriage, family and work are given proper
    order in life, then one will be able to enjoy play as time allows.
