NAS Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.

NAS Proverbs 16:12 It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, for a throne is established on righteousness.

NAS Proverbs 20:8 A king who sits on the throne of justice disperses all evil with his eyes.

NAS Psalm 59:5 And Thou, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to punish all the nations; do not be gracious to any who are treacherous in iniquity. Selah. 6 They return at evening, they howl like a dog, and go around the city. 7 Behold, they belch forth with their mouth; swords are in their lips, for, they say, "Who hears?" 8 But Thou, O LORD, dost laugh at them; Thou dost scoff at all the nations.

on it. 9 "Or at another moment I might speak concerning a nation or concerning a kingdom to build up or to plant it; 10 if it does evil in My sight by not obeying My voice, then I will think better of the good with which I had promised to bless it.
