4) Matthew 23:23; Mercy is a weightier Law.

5) Jude 22-23; Mercy is a motivation behind being spiritually helpful.

6) Matt. 20:29-34; Mercy is a mental attitude related to being helpless.

7) Hebrews 4:16; A spiritually positive mental attitude is rewarded in
    time with mercy.  Compare Proverbs 11:17.

8) Jas. 2:13; Application of mercy relates to eternal reward.  Also 2
