1. It is true that man is fallen - Mt. 15:19; Eph. 2:3; Rom. 3:23 and
    5:12.

2. But man has been made in the image of God, to do good, to be
    successful - Gen. 1:26-28; 9:6; Eph. 2:10; 1 Cor. 11:17, Rom. 8:29,
    2 Cor.  3:18, Col. 3:10, cp.  “wishing” in Rom. 7:15-21.

3. Biblical mental attitudes that restore man’s divine image:

    A.  Attitude of improvement (learning) - Eph. 4:20-25; Prov. 1:2-7;
         2:1-10; 3:1-8, 13-26; 4:20-23 and Col. 3:1-10.
    B.  Faithful confidence - Eph. 3:11-12; 1 Tim. 3:13; Heb. 3:6; 4:16;
