Note: Gospel of John and Epistles focus. Specific information for the time in which we live and the great change from “you were” to “you are.”

NAS John 19:12 As a result of this Pilate made efforts to release Him, but the Jews cried out, saying, "If you release this Man, you are no friend of Caesar; everyone who makes himself out to be a king opposes Caesar."

NAS Romans 2:1 Therefore you are without excuse, every man of you who passes judgment, for in that you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. (“you are without excuse”)

 5 But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, (“you are storing up wrath for yourself”)

 25 For indeed circumcision is of value, if you practice the Law; but if you are a transgressor of the Law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.

NAS Romans 6:14 For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law, but under grace. (“you are not under law, but under grace”)

NAS Romans 8:9 However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. (“you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit”)

NAS Romans 9:26 "And it shall be that in the place where it was said to them, 'you are not My people,' There they shall be called sons of the living God. (“you are not My people”)

NAS Romans 11:18 do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you. (“but if you are arrogant”)

NAS Romans 14:15 For if because of food your brother is hurt, you are no longer walking according to love. Do not destroy with your food him for whom Christ died. (“you are no longer walking according to love”)

NAS 1 Corinthians 4:8 You are already filled, you have already become rich, you have become kings without us; and I would indeed that you had become kings so that we also might reign with you. (Sarcasm: You are already filled.”)

 10 We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are prudent in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are distinguished, but we are without honor. (Sarcasm: “you are strong; you are distinguished.”)

NAS 1 Corinthians 5:4 In the name of our Lord Jesus, when you are assembled, and I with you in spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus,

 7 Clean out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed.

NAS 1 Corinthians 6:2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you not competent to constitute the smallest law courts?

 19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? (“you are not your own”)

NAS 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it.  37 If anyone thinks he is a prophet or spiritual, let him recognize that the things which I write to you are the Lord's commandment.

NAS 1 Corinthians 15:2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. (“by which also you are saved”)
