Biblical Concept: Worship
1
Observations from the evidence
Why does God desire / require worship? – Creator, jealous, anger, fear,
righteousness, glory due, holy, spirit and truth, spiritual service, volitional
orderliness for freewill creatures, God is involved with His creation.
Christ and the Cup = worship worthy.
Worship is a fair trade for free will.
Worship is numerously (13x) contrasted with “other” god / gods.
Other gods: a worship tool of and for fallen angels.
Angelic Conflict simplified: You will either worship God or fallen
angels.
Free will does not mean total independence, God is omnipresent. Compare Free
Will Theorem and Sin, Eternity, and Free Will.

worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which
burns with brimstone.
♠NAS Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them,
and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had
been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God,
and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received
the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they came to life and
reigned with Christ for a thousand years. (Great Tribulation: Worship God or

Worshiper

Worshipers
NAS 2 Kings 10:19
"And now, summon all the prophets of Baal, all his worshipers and all his
priests; let no one be missing, for I have a great sacrifice for Baal; whoever
is missing shall not live." But Jehu did it in cunning, in order that he
might destroy the worshipers of Baal.
21 Then Jehu sent
throughout Israel and all the worshipers of Baal came, so that there was not a
man left who did not come. And when they went into the house of Baal, the house
of Baal was filled from one end to the other.
22 And he said to the
one who was in charge of the wardrobe, "Bring out garments for all
the worshipers of Baal." So he brought out garments for them.
23 And Jehu went into
the house of Baal with Jehonadab the son of Rechab; and he said to the worshipers of Baal, "Search
and see that there may be here with you none of the servants of the LORD, but
only the worshipers of Baal."

having once been cleansed, would no longer have had consciousness of sins?
Worshiping

Worships
NAS Isaiah 44:15 Then it
becomes something for a man to burn, so he takes one of them and warms himself;
he also makes a fire to bake bread. He also makes a god and worships it; he
makes it a graven image, and falls down before it.
17 But the rest of it
he makes into a god, his graven image. He falls down before it and worships; he
also prays to it and says, "Deliver me, for thou art my god."
NAS Revelation 14:9 And
another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If
