Prologue

 

Psalm 11:4 The LORD is in His holy temple; the LORD's throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids

     test the sons of men.

Psalm 29:9 The voice of the LORD makes the deer to calve, And strips the forests bare, And in His

     temple everything says, "Glory!"

Psalm 79:1 A Psalm of Asaph. O God, the nations have invaded Thine inheritance; They have defiled Thy

     holy temple; They have laid Jerusalem in ruins.

 

Findings

 

Israelites: “temple service”

Christians: “you are a temple of God”

Christians: “temple of God is holy, and that is what you are”

Christians: “your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you”

Corinthians: “dining in an idol's temple”

NAS 2 Thessalonians 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. (Antichrist: “he takes his seat in the temple of God”)

NAS Revelation 3:12 'He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name.
