Biblical Concept: Strike the Angelic Enemy

1)  Christians fight against fallen angels - Ephesians 6:11-12, 2 Corinthians 10:3-4, and
      compare Revelation 12:7-9 and 19:14 and 19:19.

2)  Strike fallen angels:

     a) By being centered on truth and righteousness - Ephesians 6:14. Compare 2
         Corinthians 6:7.  Note the “armor of light” in Romans 13:12.
 
      b) With the Gospel: Battlefield mobility, dangerous wherever you go - Ephesians
          6:15.  Note prayer and the Gospel in 6:19-20.

     c) With a faith perimeter - Ephesians 6:16.  Compare 1 Peter 5:9a.

     d) With a saved secure brain - Ephesians 6:17a.  Compare Romans 8:35-39.

     e) With the Sword Word - Ephesians 6:17b and compare Matthew 10:34 and
         Hebrews 4:12-13.

     f) With Prayer - Ephesians 6:18.  Note the context of 6:11-12.

     g) By being oriented to suffering - 1 Peter 5:9b and 1 Peter 3:22-4:1.

     h) By resisting the devil by submitting to God - James 4:7.
 
     i) By “destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge
        of God” - 2 Corinthians 10:5a.  Note the context of 10:3-4.

     j) By “taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ” - 2 Corinthians
        10:5b.  Note the context of 10:3-4.

     k) By punishing all spiritual disobedience - 2 Corinthians 10:6a.  Note
         the context of 10:3-4.

     l) By being “Shrewd as serpents, and innocent as doves” - Matthew 10:16 and note
        the evangelistic context of 10:1, 7 and the conflict of 10:34-38.
