Biblical Concept: Sickness
Prologue: Genesis 3:17-19 17 Then to Adam He said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat from it'; Cursed is the ground because of you; In toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life. 18 "Both thorns and thistles it shall grow for you; And you shall eat the plants of the field; 19 By the sweat of your face You shall eat bread, Till you return to the ground, Because from it you were taken; For you are dust, And to dust you shall return." (Sickness is a big part of returning to dust. Volitional rebellion leads to sickness, leads to dust. Angelic attack, then rebellion, then sickness, then dust.)
Observations from the following Bible Verses: Sickness
by association, Divine discipline sickness, sick because of sins, Israel: the
whole head is sick, hope deferred
makes the heart sick, disobedience and sickness, the heart is more deceitful than all else and

sickness, sickness for God’s
glory, removal of sickness for the conquest generation, cursing and sickness,
martyrdom sickness and reward, Proverbs 18:14 The spirit of a man can
endure his sickness, But a broken spirit who can bear?
