Resist

 

NAS 2 Chronicles 13:8 "So now you intend to resist the kingdom of the LORD through the sons of David, being a great multitude and having with you the golden calves which Jeroboam made for gods for you. (Jeroboam: “you intend to resist the kingdom of the LORD.”)

NAS Ecclesiastes 4:12 And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart. (“two can resist him”)
