King David of God: “He took pleasure in me to make me king over all Israel.”

NAS Isaiah 1:11 "What are your multiplied sacrifices to Me?" Says the LORD. "I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams, And the fat of fed cattle. And I take no pleasure in the blood of bulls, lambs, or goats. (God: “multiplied sacrifices” “I take no pleasure.”)

NAS 2 Peter 2:13 suffering wrong as the wages of doing wrong. They count it a pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are stains and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions, as they carouse with you, (False teachers: “They count it a pleasure to revel in the daytime”)

NAS Ecclesiastes 2:8 Also, I collected for myself silver and gold, and the treasure of kings and provinces. I provided for myself male and female singers and the pleasures of men-- many concubines. (“the pleasures of men-- many concubines”)

NAS Luke 8:14 "And the seed which fell among the thorns, these are the ones who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with worries and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to maturity. (“pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to maturity”)
