Nationalist (“a father of many nations”)
Populist (“we the people”)
Libertarian (“live and let live”)
Traditionalist (“hold firmly to the traditions”)
Capitalist (“if anyone
will not work, neither let him eat”)
Shrewd (“be shrewd as serpents, and innocent as doves”)
(Conservative is not included because it has become a limited merit term. Politically, conservatives have conserved practically nothing.) (In my day, conservative and naïve are too closely related.)
