Messiah in Zechariah
Introduction: Zechariah, the prophet, wrote more statements
about the future Messiah than any other Old Testament book--except Isaiah. Zechariah wrote in the early 500’s BC. The
Hebrew people had returned from Babylonian captivity and received encouragement
from Zechariah to complete rebuilding the
3:8-10, My servant the Branch[1],
the Stone[2],
and Millennial blessing.
6:12-13, The Branch will build the Millennial Temple.

9:9-10,
First and Second Advent.
12:10, Weeping over the pierced Messiah. (Second Advent)
13:1-9, Messiah will cleanse Jerusalem. (Second Advent)
14:1-21, The Messiah’s second advent.
