* Note the similarity of this visual
representation of the immaterial man, the real man, the image of God man, with
the God of the Bible Chart. Then note the Biblical Concept: Divine Dwelling.
At the point eternal salvation,
the Holy Spirit permanently indwells the human’s inner man, resuscitating the
dead spirit. Compare Ephesians 2:1-5 with 1 Corinthians 2:10-14. It would appear, then, that the Holy Spirit
indwells with an emphasis on the human’s spirit. Romans 8:16 says; “The Spirit
Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God”
Of Jesus Christ, Ephesians 3:17 says: “so that Christ may
dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and
grounded in love.” It would appear that
the Lord Jesus Christ makes His abode (John 14:23) with a focus on the heart of
the believer?
By a process of elimination, (Note
this statement in Psalm 54:4: “Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the
sustainer of my soul.” Also, note 1 Thessalonians 5:23.) perhaps the Father’s abode in the Believer has an
emphasis on the soul?
