gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes. (“Father
raises the dead and gives them life”)
24 "Truly, truly, I
say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal
life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
26 "For just as the
Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in
Himself;
29 and shall come forth;
those who did the good deeds to a
resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment.

God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world."

"I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me shall not hunger, and he who
believes in Me shall never thirst. (Jesus: “I am the bread of life.”)
40 "For this is the
will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him, may

say to you, he who believes has eternal life.
48 "I am the bread
of life.
51 "I am the living
bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he shall live
forever; and the bread also which I shall give for the life of the world is My
flesh."
53 Jesus therefore said
to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son
of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.
54 "He who eats My
flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last
day.
63 "It is the Spirit
who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you
are spirit and are life.
68 Simon Peter answered
Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life.

shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

28 and I give eternal
life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of
My hand.

calls into being that which does not exist.
NAS Romans 5:10 For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled
to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we
shall be saved by His life.
17 For if by the
transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who
receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in
life through the One, Jesus Christ.
18 So then as through one
transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act
of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men.
21 that, as sin reigned
in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
NAS Romans 6:4 Therefore we have been buried with Him through
baptism into death, in order that as Christ was raised from the dead through
the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. (“so we too
might walk in newness of life”)
10 For the death that He
died, He died to sin, once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to
God.

is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

life, proved to result in death for me;
NAS Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus
has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
6 For the mind set on the
flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, (“the mind
set on the Spirit is life and peace”)
11 But if the Spirit of
Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus
from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who
indwells you. (“give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who indwells
you”)

life."

Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
NAS 2 Corinthians 4:10 always carrying about in the body the dying of
Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus' sake, that the life of
Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
12 So death works in us,
but life in you.

being burdened, because we do not want to be unclothed, but to be clothed, in

corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit,

Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep aloof from every brother who leads an unruly

present life and also for the life to come. (“godliness … promise for
the present life and also for the life to come.”)
NAS 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the
eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the
presence of many witnesses. (“take hold of the eternal life to which you were
called”)
13 I charge you in the
presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who

indeed”)
