Biblical Concept: Jesus, King of the Jews
Prologue: In my day, if you say, “Jesus is King,” you may be labeled as using antisemitic hate speech. Not kidding, no hyperbole, not exaggerating. The following is a collection of hate, so ((they)) say…
Jesus, King of the Jews
NAS Matthew 2:2 "Where is He who has
been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east, and have come to
worship Him."
NAS Matthew 27:11 Now Jesus stood before the
governor, and the governor questioned Him, saying, "Are You the King of
the Jews?" And Jesus said to him, "It is as you say."
29 And after weaving a
crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand; and
they kneeled down before Him and mocked Him, saying, "Hail, King of the
Jews!"
37 And they put up above
His head the charge against Him which read, "THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE
JEWS."
NAS Mark 15:2 And Pilate questioned Him,
"Are You the King of the Jews?" And answering He said to him, "It is as you say."
9 And Pilate answered
them, saying, "Do you want me to release for you the King of the
Jews?"
12 And answering again,
Pilate was saying to them, "Then what shall I do with Him whom you call
the King of the Jews?"
18 and they began to
acclaim Him, "Hail, King of the Jews!"
26 And the inscription of
the charge against Him read, "THE KING OF THE JEWS."
NAS Luke 23:3 And Pilate asked Him,
saying, "Are You the King of the Jews?" And He answered him and said,
"It is as you say."
37 and saying, "If
You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself!"
38 Now there was also an
inscription above Him, "THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS."
NAS John 1:49 Nathanael answered Him,
"Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King
of Israel."
NAS John 6:15 Jesus therefore perceiving
that they were intending to come and take Him by force, to make Him king,
withdrew again to the mountain by Himself alone.
NAS John 12:13 took the branches of the
palm trees, and went out to meet Him, and began
to cry out, "Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord,
even the King of Israel."
NAS John 12:15 "Fear not, daughter of
Zion; behold, your King is coming, seated on a donkey's colt."
NAS John 18:33 Pilate therefore entered
again into the Praetorium, and summoned Jesus, and said to Him, "Are You
the King of the Jews?"
NAS John 18:37 Pilate therefore said to
Him, "So You are a king?" Jesus answered, "You say correctly that I am a king. For this I
have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to bear witness to the
truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice."
39 "But you have a
custom, that I should release someone for you at the Passover; do you wish then
that I release for you the King of the Jews?"
NAS John 19:3 and they began to come up to Him, and say,
"Hail, King of the Jews!" and to give Him blows in the face.
12 As a result of this
Pilate made efforts to release Him, but the Jews cried out, saying, "If
you release this Man, you are no friend of Caesar; everyone who makes himself
out to be a king opposes
Caesar."
14 Now it was the day of
preparation for the Passover; it was about the sixth hour. And he said to the
Jews, "Behold, your King!"
NAS John 19:15 They therefore cried out,
"Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him!" Pilate said to
them, "Shall I crucify your King?" The chief priests answered,
"We have no king but Caesar."
19 And Pilate wrote an
inscription also, and put it on the cross. And it was written, "JESUS THE
NAZARENE, THE KING OF THE JEWS."
21 And so the chief
priests of the Jews were saying to Pilate, "Do not write, 'The King of the
Jews'; but that He said, 'I am King of the Jews.'"
NAS Acts 17:7 and Jason has welcomed them,
and they all act contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is
another king, Jesus."

by that which is not a nation, By a nation without
understanding will I anger you."
NAS Romans

stumble so as to fall, did they? May it never be! But by their transgression

I might move to jealousy my fellow countrymen and save some of them.

sake of the fathers;

to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17

Pontus, having recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because
Claudius had commanded all the Jews to leave Rome. He came to them, (Suetonius,
in the life of Claudius, speaks of this decree in the ninth year of his reign,
and says, The reason was because the Jews were a
turbulent people--assiduo tumultuantes)
Similar expulsions happened throughout history. Note Luther’s comment: ”then let us emulate the common sense of other nations such as
France, Spain, Bohemia, etc., … then eject them forever from the country
…"
4. We live in the times of the Gentiles
NAS Luke 21:24 and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will
be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles
be fulfilled.

“THE Talmud teaches
that Jesus Christ was illegitimate and was conceived during menstruation; that
he had the soul of Esau; that he was a fool, a conjurer, a seducer; that he was
crucified, buried in hell and set up as an idol ever since by his followers.” (THE
TALMUD UNMASKED, page 11.)
6. Judeo-Christian Myth
The term Judeo-Christian did not exist until about 20 years before World War Two. It became popular during the Cold War Era in the struggle against Godless Communism.
From one Jewish writer named Emily Burak:
“The
Myth of ‘Judeo-Christianity,’ Explained
Not only is the term
"Judeo-Christian" inaccurate, it's also antisemitic and Islamophobic.”
7.There is the great organization Jews for Jesus but also a more prolific Jews against Jesus in diverse forms. The latter groups often employ cancel culture and speech codes and accusations of antisemitism.

10. Jesus Messiah
Daniel 9:25-26 25 "So you are to know and
discern that from the issuing of a
decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two
weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of
distress. 26 "Then after
the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the
people of the prince who is to come will destroy the
city and the sanctuary. And its end will
come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are
determined.
John 1:41 He found first his own brother Simon, and said to
him, "We have found the Messiah " (which translated means Christ).

Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an
only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him, like the bitter weeping over a
first-born.
NAS Jeremiah 29:7 'And seek the welfare of the city where I have
sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf; for in its welfare you will have welfare.'
