Biblical Concept: Hunting Cherubs, Hunting Angels

Prologue: God creates angels, 1/3 go volitionally rebellious, 2/3 maintain in their volitional status.  God pronounces some kind of a judgment on the rebellious 1/3, the rebellious 1/3 were able to malign God in such a manner that it creates doubt among the 2/3 angels.  Satan had successfully maligned God as a liar.  God creates volitional humans, in a 4 dimensional universe, and angels observe how they make volitional choices.  Also introduced are: time; death; suffering; the life, death, and resurrection of a God-man.  All to vindicate Himself before the angels. (As a sentient being--I do not like volitionally weak angels.)  (1 Corinthians 6:3  3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, matters of this life?)

Prologue: Ephesians 2:6   6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, and Hebrews 1:13-14  13 But to which of the angels has He ever said, "Sit at My right hand, Until I make Thine enemies A footstool for Thy feet "?  14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation? (Believers in the Biblical Lord Jesus Christ are positionally seated at the right hand of the Father, with Jesus, and angels serve us.)

OK, how do you hunt Cherub / Angels?  How do you hunt for something you cannot see? Something, literally, dimensionally greater than you. Something able to swiftly kill massive numbers of humans. And, ultimately, something that cannot be killed--as in dead and gone.  Is it sophistry to try to hunt Cherub / Angels?

Consider the following underlines:

Ephesians 6:10-17  10 Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of His might.  11 Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.  12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.  13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.  14 Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,  15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  16 in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming missiles of the evil one.  17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

The underlined passages tell me that I can take the sword of God’s word and hack at Cherub / Angels in the world and heavens.  I can hunt.  When I apply God’s word I am hunting angels.

♠ Angels have extra dimensionality, intellect, volition / freewill, but are ignorant.  Through the sufferings of Christ and humans they learn things they could not have otherwise learned? Really!!! Some of them think they can become ‘gods’? Really!!!  1 Corinthians 11:10 Therefore the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels . . .  15 but if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her? For her hair is given to her for a covering.  Angels learn through women’s hair? Really!!! Yes, really volitionally ignorant.  (Strike the volitionally ignorant angelic enemy by applying God’s sword-word.)

2 Corinthians 10:3-4   3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh,  4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. (The power of the Sword Word.)

Romans 16:20  20 And the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

Hebrews 4:12-13   12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.  13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. (As a separate exercise, apply this to Cherubs.  The Sword Word can judge the volitional choices of Cherubs.)

Revelation 1:16   16 And in His right hand He held seven stars; and out of His mouth came a sharp two-edged sword; and His face was like the sun shining in its strength.

Revelation 2:16  16 'Repent therefore; or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of My mouth.

Revelation 19:11-21   11 And I saw heaven opened; and behold, a white horse, and He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True; and in righteousness He judges and wages war.  12 And His eyes are a flame of fire, and upon His head are many diadems; and He has a name written upon Him which no one knows except Himself.  13 And He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood; and His name is called The Word of God.  14 And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses.  15 And from His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may smite the nations; and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty.  16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."  17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds which fly in midheaven, "Come, assemble for the great supper of God;  18 in order that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of commanders and the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them and the flesh of all men, both free men and slaves, and small and great."  19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, assembled to make war against Him who sat upon the horse, and against His army.  20 And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.  21 And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat upon the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.  (Sword of the Word of God the Lord Jesus Christ.) (Properly armed.)

Matthew 25:31 "But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. (Note the end of Tribulation judgments in the following context.)

Hebrews 10:12 but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD, 13 waiting from that time onward UNTIL HIS ENEMIES BE MADE A FOOTSTOOL FOR HIS FEET.

Consider the following underline:

1 Corinthians 6:1-3  1 Does any one of you, when he has a case against his neighbor, dare to go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?  2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you not competent to constitute the smallest law courts?  3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, matters of this life?

The underline says that we shall judge angels.

The two underlines tell me that I can word-sword-hack at Cherub / Angels, and though I cannot kill them, I will one day judge them.  I can hunt with the ultimate goal of judging Cherub / Angels.  I can hunt.  Cherub angels can only kill me, not annihilate me.

Why should Believing humans judge angels?  Cherub / Angels are the origin of sin and murderous evil.  Humanity has been attacked by Cherubs from the Garden until the end of the Millennium-- to document their evil.  The attacked will, justly / appropriately, judge the attackers.

James 4:7 Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. (Word-sword-hack = submission  = devil flight.  I can hunt.) (Word-sword-hack on self.) (Volitional limitations.) (Submit = be arranged under.)

Ephesians 4:26-27  26 Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,  27 and do not give the devil an opportunity.  (Word-sword-hack against your sin patterns that the devil uses.  I can hunt.) (Word-sword-hack on self.)

1 Peter 5:8-11  8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.  9 But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.  10 And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.  11 To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen. (Word-sword-hack-faith-suffering = devil resistance.) (Volitional limitations.)

Revelation 20:1-3  1 And I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.  2 And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years,  3 and threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he should not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time. (Good hunting God.)

Revelation 20:7-10   7 And when the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison,  8 and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore.  9 And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them.  10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. (Good hunting God.)

2 Peter 2:4  4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment; (Volitional limitations.)

2 Peter 2:10-11  10 and especially those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt desires and despise authority. Daring, self-willed, they do not tremble when they revile angelic majesties,  11 whereas angels who are greater in might and power do not bring a reviling judgment against them before the Lord.

Jude 1:6   6 And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day. (Great White Throne?) (Volitional limitations.)

Jude 1:8-9   8 Yet in the same manner these men, also by dreaming, defile the flesh, and reject authority, and revile angelic majesties.  9 But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him a railing judgment, but said, "The Lord rebuke you." (Sword-word = Lord rebuke.)

Revelation 12:7-12  7 And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. And the dragon and his angels waged war,  8 and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven.  9 And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.  10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.  11 "And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even to death.  12 "For this reason, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time." (We will see God’s good hunting!)

Revelation 21:17  17 And he measured its wall, seventy-two yards, according to human measurements, which are also angelic measurements. (Dimensional limitations.)

Romans 8:35-39  35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  36 Just as it is written, "For Thy sake we are being put to death all day long; We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered."  37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.  38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,  39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Angels would like to separate us from God.)

Matthew 10:34  34 "Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

1 Peter 3:22 - 4:1  22 who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, after angels and authorities and powers had been subjected to Him.  4:1 Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, (Objectively stated: Why did God not subject evil angels in heaven?  Answer: Evidently just how evil, 1/3 angels are could not be demonstrated in heaven?  Or, the evil angels successfully portrayed God as a liar and this could not be resolved in heaven?)

Hebrews 2:14 Since then the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil; (God will not allow angelic change of mind in eternity future, this would deny Christ’s work.)

1 John 3:8 the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, that He might destroy the works of the devil.  (Evidently this could not be done in God’s heaven?) (God will not allow angelic change of mind in eternity future, this would deny Christ’s work.)

1 Corinthians 11:10 Therefore the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels.

Hebrews 4:12-16  12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.  13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.  14 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.  15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.  16 Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need. (Word-sword-hack at self.)

Revelation 1:12-18  12 And I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands;  13 and in the middle of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed in a robe reaching to the feet, and girded across His breast with a golden girdle.  14 And His head and His hair were white like white wool, like snow; and His eyes were like a flame of fire;  15 and His feet were like burnished bronze, when it has been caused to glow in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of many waters.  16 And in His right hand He held seven stars; and out of His mouth came a sharp two-edged sword; and His face was like the sun shining in its strength.  17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as a dead man. And He laid His right hand upon me, saying, "Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last,  18 and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

NAS 2 Timothy 2:3 Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. (Suffering reward.)

(Why not do this while in heaven? Before any four dimensional universe?  Satan had successfully maligned God as a liar.)

Revelation 21:17  17 And he measured its wall, seventy-two yards, according to human measurements, which are also angelic measurements. (Dimensional limitations.)

Matthew 25:41  41 "Then He will also say to those on His left, 'Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;

Luke 12:8-9  8 "And I say to you, everyone who confesses Me before men, the Son of Man shall confess him also before the angels of God;  9 but he who denies Me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

Hebrews 1:1-7 1 God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways,  2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.  3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high;  4 having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.  5 For to which of the angels did He ever say, "Thou art My Son, Today I have begotten Thee"? And again, "I will be a Father to Him And He shall be a Son to Me"?  6 And when He again brings the first-born into the world, He says, "And let all the angels of God worship Him."  7 And of the angels He says, "Who makes His angels winds, And His ministers a flame of fire." (“Having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.” The weakness of angels is that they have a free-will, and can be subject to the deceptions of a free-will.)

Luke 10:18   18 And He said to them, "I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning.
