Conclusions and applications: The Scriptures are filled with volitional appeals to spiritually listen.  Application: No one can make another person listen.  The Scriptures are filled with descriptions of the spiritual blessings available to those who spiritually listen.  The Scriptures are filled with warnings to those who do not listen.  Understanding and wisdom are repeatedly used with the listening vocabulary.  Application: Listening is a qualitative experience.  For God to hear us, we must meet His standards.  Spiritual hearing has angelic opposition.  Hearing requires mind not emotion.  Spiritual hearing leads to spiritual doing.  In the Angelic Conflict, hearing extends into the Triunity.
