Biblical Concept: Grace Abundance

Vocabulary - Grace = ca,rij = a beneficial opportunity; cari,zomai = to gift, forgive; carito,w = freely give.

 

Luke 2:40 - And the Child continued to grow and become strong, increasing in wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him.

Acts 4:33 - And with great power the apostles were giving witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all.

Acts 6:8 - And Stephen, full of grace and power, was performing great wonders and signs among the people.

Acts 14:3 - Therefore they spent a long time there speaking boldly with reliance upon the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting that signs and

                  wonders be done by their hands.

Acts 20:32 - And now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is  able to  build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are  sanctified.

Romans 5:17 - For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will   

  reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:20 - And the Law came in that the transgression might increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,

Romans 5:21 - that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

                       thus occupied were not benefited.

James 4:6 - But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, "GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE."

1 Peter 1:2 - according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the  Spirit, that you may obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May

                   grace and peace be yours in fullest measure.

1 Peter 4:10 - As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

1 Peter 5:10 - And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and

                    establish you.

1 Peter 5:12 - Through Silvanus, our faithful brother (for so I regard him), I have written to you briefly, exhorting and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand firm in   

                     it!

2 Peter 1:2 - Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our  Lord;

2 Peter 3:18 - but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

Jude 1:4 - For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into

                licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Conclusions and applications - God’s grace is abundant to handle our problems and needs.  God’s Christian way of life grace supports and responds to the Believer’s volitional choices.  Grow in grace.  Be strong in grace.  Stand firm in grace.  Grace glorifies God.  Jesus Christ = grace.  Grace = forgiven.  We have been graced-out.  Do not abuse grace.  Lower God not.  Grace is one of God’s general attitudes.  Be grace oriented. Grace is an abundant greeting[1] in the New Testament letters.
