Foundational Biblical Concepts

Of foundational Biblical Concepts Hebrews 6:1-3 says:

1 Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of instruction about washings, and laying on of hands, and the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And this we shall do, if God permits.

This is a collection of links to foundational Biblical Concepts that have the goal of facilitating a rapid orientation to the God of the Bible.

These foundational Biblical Concepts are presented in a loose order of importance. After How To Have Eternal Life, sin begins the meat of the presentation, as it is vital for the Christian to spend a maximum amount of their time in fellowship with the God of the Bible.  After some additional topics related to sin, eternal security is addressed.  Next, God’s Person is the subject and the issue of maturing through Bible Study follows. Toward the end, the subject of Angelic Rebellion leads to a varying compilation of significant concepts.

Foundational Biblical Concepts present a minimum operating requirement for the Christian’s spiritual life.  May the learning and application of the following Biblical Concepts, bring spiritual maturity to you and glorification to God.

Instructions for the Biblical Concepts to follow:  Read the statements, read the Bible references, contemplate the concepts; your positive volition and the Holy Spirit will put them in your soul--see 1 John 2:27.  Biblical Concepts are food for your soul (1 Peter 2:2), fuel for fruitful living (Colossians 1:10) and future glory (2 Peter 3:18).
