Biblical Concept: Deceive

Findings:

 

Unbelievers live in a world of various deceptions. Think: Press, politicians, etc. 

 

Sinful angels and deception: a relationship.

 

Satan works to deceive on a global level.

 

Religion is full of deception.

 

Jesus Christ is the target of religious deception.

 

Female humans are uniquely targeted for deception by sinful angels.

 

Believers need to be on guard against deception. Think: Press, politicians, etc.  Think: self deception.

 

Deceive

 

NAS Genesis 31:27 "Why did you flee secretly and deceive me, and did not tell me, so that I might have sent you away with joy and with songs, with timbrel and with lyre;

 

NAS 2 Samuel 3:25 "You know Abner the son of Ner, that he came to deceive you and to learn of your going out and coming in, and to find out all that you are doing."

 

NAS 2 Kings 4:28 Then she said, "Did I ask for a son from my lord? Did I not say, 'Do not deceive me'?"

Deceived

NAS 2 John 1:7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.

 

Deceivers

 

NAS 2 Corinthians 6:8 by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; regarded as deceivers and yet true;

Deceives
