Biblical Concept: Be Prepared For Death
1) Humanity needs reminder of the obvious: All humans die, prepare
2) The Christian can be prepared for death because of Christís work.
NAS Ecclesiastes 3:2 A time to give birth, and a time to die; A time to
plant, and a time to uproot what is planted.
NAS Ecclesiastes 8:8 No man has authority to restrain the wind with the
wind, or authority over the day of death; and there is no discharge in
the time of war, and evil will not deliver those who practice it.
NAS 1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall
be made alive.
3) For the Christian, death is a promotion.
NAS Hebrews 2:14 Since then the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself
likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless
him who had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 and might deliver
those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.

and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?"

4) Being prepared for death brings confidence as Christians live their

NAS Revelation 2:10 'Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold,
the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that you may be tested,
and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I
will give you the crown of life.
NAS 1 Corinthians 7:39 A wife is bound as long as her husband lives; but
if her husband is dead, she is free to be married to whom she wishes, only
