hosts. 14 So the LORD cuts
off head and tail from Israel, Both palm
branch and bulrush in a single day. 15
The head is the elder and honorable man, And the prophet who teaches falsehood
is the tail.) (False prophet

My people! Those who guide you lead you astray,
And confuse the direction of your paths. (Isaiah 3:8-15 8 For Jerusalem has stumbled, and
Judah has fallen, Because their speech and their
actions are against the LORD, To rebel against His glorious presence. 9 The expression of their faces bears witness against them. And they display their sin
like Sodom; They do not even conceal it. Woe to them! For they have brought
evil on themselves. 10 Say to
the righteous that it will go well with them, For
they will eat the fruit of their actions.
11 Woe to the wicked! It
will go badly with him, For what he deserves will be done to him. 12 O My people! Their oppressors
are children, And women rule over them. O My people!

crushing My people, And grinding the face of the
poor?" Declares the Lord God of hosts.) (Political leaders of the confusion.)
Confused
NAS Genesis
11:9 Therefore its name was
called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of the whole earth;
and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of the whole earth.
(Genesis 11:1-9 1 Now the whole earth used the same
language and the same words. 2
And it came about as they journeyed east, that they found a plain in the land
of Shinar and settled there. 3
And they said to one another, "Come, let us make bricks and burn them thoroughly." And they used
brick for stone, and they used tar for mortar.
4 And they said, "Come, let us build for ourselves a
city, and a tower whose top will reach into
heaven, and let us make for ourselves a name; lest we be scattered abroad over
the face of the whole earth." 5
And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had
built. 6 And the LORD said,
"Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And
this is what they began to do, and now nothing which they purpose to do will be
impossible for them. 7
"Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not
understand one another's speech." 8
So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of the whole earth;
and they stopped building the city. 9
Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the LORD confused the
language of the whole earth; and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over
the face of the whole earth.) (Note

humanity.)

the LORD thundered with a great thunder on that day against the Philistines and
confused them, so that they were routed before Israel. (Divine confusion of the

wine and stagger from strong drink: The priest and the prophet reel with strong
