Biblical Concept: Christmas
Invasion
Christmas: The birth[1] of Jesus[2] = the advent[3] of Christ[4] = an
invasion by a Warrior[5] = the strategic spiritual
counterattack[6] in the Angelic Conflict[7].
His invasion was
followed with over
30 years[8] of continual[9] Personal warfare with Satan, Satan’s
angels, and a world deceived by Satan[10]. Christ’s
battle-front of the Cross achieved the
strategic victory
over all opposed to
the Triune God of the Bible[11]. Merry Mass
of Christ!
[1] Birth = “The
emergence of the young of a human or animal from the mother’s womb into the
outside world.”
[2] Jesus = Iesous (VIhsou/j) = (Hebrew) Joshua ([;vuAhy>) = Deliverer. See Matthew 1:21.
[3] “The arrival of
something important or awaited.” NAS Luke 2:12
"And this will
be a
sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths, and lying in a
manger." 13 And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of
the heavenly host
praising God, and saying, 14 "Glory
to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men with whom He is
pleased." See Biblical
Concept: Prophecies of Messiah.
[4] Christ = Christos (Cristo,j) = (Hebrew) Mashicha (x;yvim') = Messiah = Anointed. See John 1:41 and Daniel 9:25-26.
[5] See Biblical Concept: Christ the Warrior.
[6] “Military: a
hostile entry of an armed force into a country’s territory, especially with the
intention of conquering it.” NAS 1 John 3:8 the one who practices sin is of the
devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son
of God appeared for this purpose, that He might destroy the works of the
devil (The underline is mine.).
[7] NAS Hebrews 2:5
For He did not subject to angels the world to come, concerning which we are
speaking. NAS 1 John 5:19 We know that
we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil
one. See Biblical Concept: World Subject to Angels.
[8] NAS Luke 3:23 And when He began His ministry, Jesus
Himself was about thirty years
of age, being supposedly the
son of Joseph,
the son of Eli,
[10] NAS Matthew 4:11
Then the devil *left Him; and behold, angels came and began to minister to
Him. NAS Luke 4:13 And when the devil
had finished every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune
time. See Mark 1:21-28 and Biblical Concept: Angelic Conflict in the Gospel of John.
[11] NAS Hebrews 2:14
Since then the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also
partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had
the power of death, that is, the devil; NAS Colossians 2:14 having canceled out
the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us and which was
hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the
cross. 15 When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public
display of them, having triumphed over them through Him. NAS 1 John 3:8 the one who practices sin is
of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God
appeared for this purpose, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
